I am writing this post to see what everyone's favorite restaurants are here in Cincinnati.
Just a few questions about your favorite restaurant:
1. What's it called?
2. Where's it located?
3. Why did you like it so much?
4. How much did it cost?
5. What did you order?
6. When did you go?
You dont have to answer these in any specific order just tell me where you ate and why you love/loved it so much! I can't wait to hear everyone's favorite places.
I can't even help it, I love Krishna Carryout. It's located on Calhoun Street by the corner of Calhoun and Clifton near Hughes High School. I like it because I only live two blocks away, so it's accessible and it's fast-- but good! It's fairly affordable, as well. A meal that's big enough to feed two people is usually around 10 or 11 dollars. I usually get lamb curry or whatever my boyfriend picks out, honestly (he's more of an Indian food guru than me). But I love it and it's one of the best places to get Indian cuisine in Cincinnati.
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough one. But another editor at TNR and I went to this place called Senate. It has "Chicago" style hot dogs. That basically means hot dogs with everything and anything in it.
ReplyDeleteIt's downtown. The problem is, it was kind of a pricey excursion. I had a hot dog, some duck fat fries and an Old Fashioned and a Gin Gimlet — with tip, I think I must've dropped $30.
Not exactly what I was looking to spend for a night of eating hot dogs and fries.
I have to agree and say Krishna is my favorite restaurant in Clifton. Their menu is reasonably priced and they have great deals. For example, you can receive free nan when you order their lunch special. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love Nada (Downtown) if we're talking nice out to dinner fun trendy place. We normally order several appetizers when we go here and then get a few of their delicious margaritas! It's a little pricey but the atmosphere and location are great! The menu is also pretty limited, but make sure to get their amazing guac if you go!
ReplyDeleteI love el toro in Hyde Park Plaza if we're talking cheap mexican and margs out with the girls. It's just another cheap mexican place, free chips and salsa, giant margaritas & happy hour from 2-7 every day!
